Rubicon Foundation fundraising event a huge success!

By September 21, 2010Our Efforts: Haiti Project

An  Evening For Haiti turned into an evening of fun and fundraising success. Over $2,000 was collected from the silent auction and personal donations.

The evening began with a video outlining the work of the Rubicon Foundation with regards to Haiti and interviews from the traveling team explaining what this project means to each of them.

Then Parfait filled the hall with music as he invited participants to join in singing a few of the songs he will be performing with the children of Haiti.

“It was nice to meet so many nice people, enjoy good music and at the same time contribute to such a meaningful project.” said attendee Patrick Tiembane.

Rubicon's very own Parfait was the headliner of the evening.

Both adults and children attended, enjoying the special menu and ambiance offered by Uptown Billiards Club.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening a success including those who collected items for the auction, organized the fundraiser and especially those who came out to support the event !

Special thanks to Kent Lewis of Uptown Billiards for donating the venue.
